The History Behind USS Trespass
USS Trespass was built on Stardate 57241.2 to fight against the problems of the Dominion War and the battle at Wolf 359. Starfleet kept the Trespass at Sans Francisco Construction Yards because of the shortage of crewmembers in Starfleet, but was issued a skeleton crew to test its weapons, warp capabilities etc. Starfleet wanted the new Trespass hidden from its enemies until sufficent crewmembers were available, it sent the Trespass to the Vulcans home planet. It was 57304.5 when Voyager came home with its new technology. Starfleet ordered the Trespass to be refitted with the newly acquired technology so the Slipstream and Transwarp drives were installed when Voyager came home, also it was fitted with the Federations' Phase Cloak.
